November 2018: the community passed a 4.28 mil bond issue that calls for the construction of a new 9-12 grade high school. The existing high school will be re-purposed as the middle school and possibly the Board of Education. The new building will be built on district owned property, just north of the existing high school.
August 2022: A Ribbon Cutting was held for the new 106,000 square foot Firelands High School!
September 2022: 9th grade students started their first day in the new building, followed by 10th, 11th and 12th grade students the following day.
