You’re invited: Beam signing for the new Firelands High School
Celebrate the construction of the new Firelands High School with us by signing your name on a steel beam that will be lifted into place during construction. The beam will eventually be located by the new stage and signatures will be visible from the east view. Encompassing a total of 106,630 square feet, FLSD newest building will house students 9-12 with shared spaces for our middle school students as well.
The beam will be available on April 20th and 22nd from 4:30-6:30 pm. Please park in the main FHS parking lot and walk back to the construction gate by the band/choir room (area near the north end of the track). Beam will be located inside of a separate construction area. Signers must stay inside of this barricade. Markers will be provided and sanitized between use. Please follow all COVID-19 guidance from Lorain County Public Health and the CDC.
