Arrival- Car Riders
• Students will be entering the building at 8:20
• Parent Pick Up line vehicles will enter the parking lot through the new entrance by FMS (entrance closest to the water treatment area)
• Cars will line up in the large parking lot. Use the red lanes with cars heading east
• Cars will remain parked in the staging area (red section) until 8:20 AM
• Cars will move toward FES starting at 8:20 in an orderly manner
o Row 1 vehicles start first, followed by row 2 vehicles…
• Vehicles will enter the front loop of the building and move towards the library entrance
• Please pull the vehicles all the way up to the library entrance part of the loop
• Vehicles will need to wait in single file and wait for the line to move for everyone’s safety.
• Please have the children be ready with their book bags to exit in order to expedite the drop off process
• Students should sit on the driver’s side to exit safely along the sidewalk
• Staff members will assist with opening and closing of doors to keep the line moving.

Arrival- Bus Riders
• Bus riders will arrive through the north doors (near the gymnasium) • Staff members will be outside by the buses to facilitate the process of unloading buses safely

 • Please do NOT arrive in the lot until 2:45 to maintain safe dismissal process for the FMS and FHS students
• Our students will be exiting the building starting at 3:25
• Parent Pick Up line vehicles will enter the parking lot through the new entrance by FMS (entrance closest to the water treatment area)
• Cars will remain parked in the staging area (red section) until 3:15 PM
• Cars will move toward FES starting at 3:15 in an orderly manner
o Row 1 vehicles start first, followed by row 2 vehicles…
• Vehicles will turn left (east) towards the baseball field next to the building
• Pull all the way up by number 1 spot and wait for your child to enter the vehicle on the passenger side
• Once student is in the vehicle, you will turn left (north) to exit the lot
• Cell phone use while in parent pick up line is prohibited to maintain safety for everyone
• Please be aware of students, staff, and family that may be in the parking lot as you enter the lot.
• Remember that this lot is a shared space for students, staff, and families at FMS and FHS

Dismissal- Bus Riders
• Bus riders will be dismissed through the front doors – main and library
• Staff members will be outside by the buses to facilitate the process of unloading buses safely
• Please exit the lot using the driveway nearest to the Firelands Middle School
