Yearbooks from last year can be picked up in Room 121 beginning September 11, 2023, Before or After school any day this week
Want to learn chess or already playing and want to get better? See Mr. Nerlich in Room 107 for more information. Dates: 09/19/23 – 05-16/23 Tuesdays and Thursdays form 2:45-3:45 pm in the high school cafeteria.
Mrs. Johnson’s 7th & 8th & 9th period classes report to Mr. Brawley’s band room.

Thursday the Firelands Middle School Cross Country Teams raced at Avon Veteran's Park. Top placer for the boys was Aaron Powers. Also, racing was Seth Reichle, George Littleton, Lucas Frederick, Collin Vaughn, Nathan Krebs, and Landon Smith.
Top placer for the girls was Deim Vanderpool. Also, racing was Hailey Brown, Amelia Branco, Adelynn Schlechter, CeCe Howell, and Violet Howells.

The cheerleaders would like to invite the students and staff to come to the next football game against the rival Keystone team.  The game will take place at our home field on Thursday, Sept 21st with 7th grade starting at 5:00 and 8th grade at 6:30.  It will be a red out.  Let’s fill the stadium with our red attire and support the players and cheerleaders.

7th Grade Football Announcements (09/15/23)
Last night the Firelands Falcons 7th grade football team had a tough loss against the Wadsworth Grizzlies with a score of 32 to 14.
On Offense for the Falcons Brayden Alberti led the way with over 70 yards rushing and 2 rushing touchdowns!
Max Brown threw the ball for over 100 yards
Haydn Tobicash had 4 caught passes for over 50 yards
Hunter Layport had a 2 point conversion reception
On Defense Ben Wagner had a fumble recovery
Holdyn Nemeth had a huge sack to help the Falcons get off the field
The Falcons face off next Thursday at home.
Last night the 8th grade football team defeated the Clearview Clippers (40 – 0).
The Falcon offense leaned on their running game to work down the field and score. Many players reached the end zone to earn points for the Falcons, including Nate Rowley, Brett Beury, Carson Lima, and Camden Arnal.
The entire Falcon defense played fast and physical, preventing the Clippers from scoring at all.
The 8th grade football team is remains undefeated and will face an undefeated Keystone football team Thursday. Keep up the good work Falcons!
