Title 1 was created to ensure all students have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state academic standards as well as prepare them for life. Title 1 services focus on improving the academic achievement of students who need assistance above and beyond areas that are provided by the regular classroom resources.
