FES Learning Project: Honduras
Our second grade students in Miss Andorka and Mrs. Jaskwiecz’s class participated in SKYPE communication with students in Honduras as a culminating activity to a unit in Social Studies Class.  
Congratulations Mulica & Zingales!
Congratulations to Cameron Mulica (4th grade) and Ava Zingales (5th grade). Both students are winners in the annual Firelands Elementary Yearbook Cover Contest. Cameron's artwork will be featured on the front cover and Ava's wil be shown on the back cover. Well done, FES artists! 
Parent Teacher Conferences
Conferences will be held on the evening of February 23rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. 
No School - February 24, 2017
Students will not have school on February 24th due to a Non-Instructional Day.

Food Service Announcement
In the event of a snow day on a Tuesday, the lunch menu will feature vendor pizza on Wednesday. If a snow day occurs on Tuesday and Wednesday, vendor pizza will be offered on Thursday. If a two hour delay occurs, breakfast will not be served on those days. 
Introducing the FES Fabulous Falcon Program!
The first FES Fabulous Falcon breakfast was held on November 16th in the gymnasium. Thirty-nine students were recognized! Click here for the full story. 
Parent Pick Up Procedure

Beginning Tuesday, August 30, the following procedures will be in place for students who get picked up at the end of the day instead of riding a bus. These procedures must be followed whether your child is picked up every day or only occasionally.

 
Reading On The Go!
